Pasta Carbonara

Cowbridge Kitchen

Pasta Carbonara is probably the most iconic Italian pasta, it is made with cooked ham and often mushrooms. Tagliatelle pasta in a creamy hard Italian cheese sauce.

In this Carbonara recipe we are not following a traditional recipe, instead we have gone for a more convenient method, a method that will still give you that great Carbonara taste but with a much easier recipe to follow.

This dish is great served on it's own but I like to make some Cheesy Garlic Bread to go on the side.

    How to make Pasta Carbonara

Pasta Carbonara is an Italian pasta dish, originating from Rome. Pasta carbonara is the ultimate Italian fast food, perfect for a midweek meal.

Traditionally Carbonnara is not made using cream, the sauce comes from the eggs and Parmesan cheese, but in this recipe I am using cream as I think this makes the dish easier to make for most people who are not expert Italian Chefs.
