Smoky BBQ Sauce

Cowbridge Kitchen

BBQ sauce is the perfect summer sauce, it is great for dipping Chips or Onion Rings in or as a marinade for spare ribs.

This BBQ sauce recipe is an ideal Marinade for spare ribs as it is smoky and has a bit of a kick.

You can use this as a dipping sauce as well, let it cool down and use it instead of Ketchup . The longer you let this BBQ sauce simmer down the richer the flavour of the Sauce will become.

How to make BBQ Sauce

This BBQ sauce can be used as a marinade, basting, condiment, or topping for meat.

BBQ sauce dates back to the 17th century, where it became popular in American colonies. Its European origins developed over the following 200 years.

So BBQ sauce has been around for some time, starting off as an American sauce and becoming popular in Tex-Mex cuisine.

There are many BBQ sauce recipes and different ingredients, but I think you will find that this BBQ sauce will be a little smoky and a tiny bit spicy.
